Indoor Hockey and Goalie Skills Clinic

G-Force Field Hockey will be conducting two Indoor Hockey and GK Skills Clinics for players of all ages: U12, U14, U16 and U19. This is for players who cannot commit to our Travel Teams, but want to continue to develop and refine their skills. Each clinic will consist of 5 training sessions; Sundays at Morristown-Beard School: 8:30 - 10:30 AM.

Clinic I - December 14 - January 25, 2009 (no session on January 4).
Clinic II - February 1 - March 8, 2009 (no session on February 8).

The cost for each clinic is $250. However, U12s receive a reduced rate.

Travel Team Tryouts

G-Force Field Hockey will be holding tryouts for teams to attend the National Indoor Qualifiers (NIQs). The NIQs will occur in January 2009. If a team qualifies, they then receive admission to the National Indoor Tournament (NIT) which is scheduled for March 2009 in Virginia Beach, VA.

Please find the Schedule for Tryouts listed below. Please read all information carefully, review the schedule, select your date choice and send in your registration form by November 21, 2008. Space is limited, so register early.

The cost for a tryout session is $60.

You must be a current member of USFHA in order to tryout. Please complete membership sign up at:

Tryout Schedule

- (U14 & U16) Sunday, December 7 at Parsippany High School, Parsippany, NJ from 9 - 11am

- (U19) Sunday, December 7 at Parsippany High School, Parsippany, NJ from 11am – 1pm

- (U16 & U19) Monday, December 8 at Newark Academy, Livingston, NJ from 7:30 – 9:00pm

Winter Training

Turf League

During the winter (December – March), G-Force will be conducting 2 Winter League 7-a-side competitions. These competitions will be geared towards improving the level of teams and players alike. The games will be played on turf, on Thursday nights and can start at 7 pm or 8 pm at The Sports Factory in Lincoln Park. You can register as a team, or players can register as individuals and be put on a house team.

Session I (Dec.11 – Jan.29)

In the first league competition (Session I), an Inter-County Championship league, we’re focusing on getting 7 competitive teams from across the counties: i.e. Bergen, Essex, Morris, Passaic, Sussex, etc. A school can enter 2 teams in the competition if they have that depth as well.

Session II (Feb.5 – Mar.12)

In the second league competition (Session II), Champion of Champions league, we’re encouraging coaches to select their top teams from across the counties to compete for the championship.

Registration fee is $165 for each league session.
