National Indoor Tournament 2010
Published Date: March 9, 2010

Congratz to the G-Force Lionz (u14) team on their gold medal winning performance at the National Indoor Tournament 2010 in Virginia Beach.

Throughout the competition, the team played with immense determination and pride. The team completed the NITs with an undefeated record, in securing the gold medal in the final game. The team played with the composure and skills, not always evident at the u14 level. They came together very early and started to gel as a cohesive unit from the very first game. They started the tournament playing hard, and working even harder. Therefore, it's only fitting that they finished the tournament as champions. An outstanding achievement for the young ladies. They showed the courage and ability befitting the national champions that they became. Keep working hard ladies.

Disney Showcase 2010
Published Date: February 10, 2010

Congratz to the G-Force Titanz (u16) team for capturing the bronze medal at the recently concluded Disney Showcase 2010 in Orlando,Florida.

Combined with their pride and determination, these young ladies played with a distinct elan, destined for success. After the first 3 days of the tournament, the team continued to show the resilience and selflessness that true champions are made of; this Titanz team, comprising of five 8th graders, four freshmen and three sophomores, went undefeated. They came together and demonstrated time and again, the true meaning of teamwork and togetherness. They played assiduously in each game, no matter the opposition. And great credit to the captains in keeping the entire team focus on and off the field; from the field warm-ups, to the team-bonding activities. A job well done young ladies!

On the final day of the tournament, as the team started the playoff games, their will power and resilience were delectable. This precocious group continually defied all odds, constantly overcoming fatigue, now down to exactly 11 players. It became increasingly apparent, that their desire to triumph was simply inexorable. In the Bronze Medal game (their 3rd game for the day and 10th for the tournament), this mystical team, again rose to the occasion in their 3-0 monumental victory to secure the Bronze Medal.

Throughout the tournament, their determination and mental-strength were so compounding, they could be seen in every aspect of each game. Their superlative performance is certainly one for them to treasure for the ages; as it's not customary for such a young team (with the average age of 14), to excel at such a competitive National Stage.

Excellent teamwork ladies, keep it up. We encourage you to continue to play the true spirit of the game.

Querer es poder!
